This month we introduce a new 4-Step approach to creating a strategic roadmap. Our Jibility Steps is traditionally a 6-Step method: Challenges, Objectives, Capabilities, Actions, Initiatives and Roadmap. The 6-Step method is a capability-based planning approach.

Some users are not ready for capability-based planning or struggle with the capabilities and actions concept. So, we created a simplified strategic roadmap approach which is now just 4-Steps: Challenges, Objectives, Initiatives and Roadmap. With our new 4-Steps approach, you can link your initiatives directly to your objectives, and we call this the objective-based planning approach.

To create a new 4-Step Strategic Roadmap, please select the "My 4-Step Simplified Strategic Roadmap" tile as shown below.

To explore an example of a 4-Step Strategic Roadmap, we have also introduced a new sample roadmap for a Not-for-Profit organisation called Workout4Good. You can open this roadmap and see our example.
