In Jibility, you can export or save a roadmap document to a file and then re-import it again. You may want to do this because

1) You want a backup copy of your roadmap document;

2) You want to share a roadmap document with another user by sending them a file;

3) You want to export your roadmap documents to transfer to another user's account.

Exporting your roadmaps to file

To export your roadmap document, find the roadmap document tile, select the vertical ellipsis (three dots) and then click the Export function menu, as shown below.

Exporting to file will download your roadmap to your default download folder (which is configured in your browser). Exported Jibility roadmap files have a file extension of .JSON.).

NOTE, exporting a template will create a file with a .JIBT file extension.

Importing your roadmaps from file

To import from a file, scroll to the bottom of your home page and you will see the following Import File tile. Select this tile and you are prompted for the file to import.

An imported roadmap file is added as a new tile in the "My Roadmap" for a .JSON and to the "My Template" section for a .JIBT file.
