What's new?

  1. Undo/Redo - Yes at last!!

  2. Auto recovery of unsaved changes

  3. Synchronized selection and scroll into view of initiatives between the Initiative and Roadmap steps

Undo/Redo

Finally, you can perform an undo and redo.  This is such a simple, but much sought after feature.  Now, with undo and redo, you can try out your changes and hit undo if it's not what you expected.

When you make changes, Jibility will retain a list of up to ten (10) changes that you can undo.  If you make more than ten changes, then the oldest change is dropped from your undo list.

You can see how many changes are queued and what was your last change in the tool tip when you hover your mouse over the Undo or Redo buttons. In the example below, there is one [1] change in the undo queue and the last change made was a reordering of a challenge.

Auto recovery of unsaved changes

If you exit from Jibility abnormally, such as closing the browser without saving your document, then when you restart Jibility, you may be prompted with the following message.

With the implementation of the Undo/Redo feature, we now store your work in progress roadmap in your browser's cache.  If you exit abnormally and Jibility detects that you have unsaved changes, then you may have a chance to reopen the unsaved document.

This feature is dependent on your browser's cache management.  This feature will not work if

  1. You clear your browsers cache;

  2. The browser automatically clears your cache (such as when it detects that you are low on storage space); or

  3. You are running "In-cognito".

Synchronized selection and scroll into view of initiatives between the Initiative and Roadmap steps

Previously when you selected an initiative in either the Initiative or the Roadmap steps, these were selected independently.  Now, they are synchronized.  Why?  This change is to make it easier to work on an initiative as you switch between the Initiative and Roadmap steps.

From now on, when you select an initiative in the Initiative step and then switch to the Roadmap step, Jibility will automatically select the same initiative and scroll it into view.  Likewise, if you select an initiative in the Roadmap step and switch back to the Initiative step then the same initiative is selected and scrolled into view.
