We have combined our library of common business and technology challenges and objectives into one library. Now, when you start a new roadmap (whether with the 6-Step or 4-Step method), you can access the combined library from the challenge or objective step.

Previously, you had to choose upfront to start a business or a technology roadmap and once selected, you could only access the respective library.

We have removed the "My Business Strategic Roadmap" and the "My Information Technology Strategic Roadmap" templates and replaced it with the new "My 6-Step Capability-based Strategic Roadmap", as shown below.

Does this impact the previously created roadmaps using the Business or IT templates?

No, this change will not impact your existing roadmaps. You can continue to open and edit your roadmaps created using the "My Business Strategic Roadmap" or "My Information Technology Strategic Roadmap" libraries.

How has the combined library content changed?

Previously, the Information Technology library contained challenges and objectives, which specifically referred to the IT (Information Technology) function. Most of these challenges apply to any technology function, so we genericized these challenges to refer to "The function" instead.

For example, the "IT must stay ahead of Cyber security threats" challenge is now "The function must stay ahead of Cyber security threats". You can keep "The function" generically or change this to your specific function name.
