This is a Professional and Enterprise Plan feature.

A measure is a quantifiable indicator that can be used to determine whether an outcome or success is achieved.

Jibility supports the ability to define a list of measures that can be linked to a Challenge, Objective, or Initiative.

For a Challenge, Objective or Initiative, the properties panel now includes the ability to Quick Create a new measure, Select from a list of defined measures, See the linked measures and Unlink a measure, as illustrated below.

NOTE: you can rename Measures to suit your purpose. In the following example, Measures is renamed to "KPI". To rename Measures, go to the document Settings.

Quick Create New Measures

In each Jibility Step, in the properties panel of the selected item (a challenge, objective, or initiative), you can quickly create a new measure and define it later in the Measures function.

To do a quick create, type the name of the new measure and hit enter. The measure is created and automatically linked to the selected item.

In the following animated example, two new measures are created and linked to the selected objective.

The newly created measures are ready for you to define in detail in the Measures function.

Defining a measure

The Measures function is available for selection in the left side menu, as shown below.

The Measures function allows you to create new measures that can be linked to your Jibility Step items later, or to define and maintain existing measures.

To define a measure, click and select the measure in the list and update the properties panel on the right.

A measure is an object or item in Jibility, like a challenge, objective or capability. It has a name, description, comments and owner. Measures have specific fields associated with them, which are explained below.

Note: the defined measures are always listed alphabetically.

Unlinking Measures

To unlink a measure, click the X icon on the right side of its name, as shown below.

Note: Unlinking a measure will not delete the measure. To delete the measure, you must do so in the Measures function.

Examples

Here are some examples of a Decimal, Percentage and Text type of measures

Published Documents - Measure Summary Page and Measure Summary List

For Measures, you can publish a list of all the defined measures using the Measure Summary List document. This document supports the ability to export to Excel. The Excel document will also list all the Jibility items linked to measures.

The following is an example export to Excel.

You can also see each Measure summarised on the page. The page summary shows all the measure attributes, including the linked Jibility items.
